WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) sent a letter to House and Senate leadership urging them to include stimulus payments in the next COVID-19 aid package. As it stands, Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has signaled that he is not in favor of this proposal.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) joined a first of its kind virtual bipartisan delegation, hosted by the Council of the Americas, that brought some 40 representatives of American and Mexican companies together to discuss trade and investment between the two countries. Vanessa Guillénand Sgt. Elder Fernandes at the Fort Hood military base in Texas. Fort Hood was found to have multiple soldier disappearances, homicides, sexual assaults and deaths at Fort Hood over the past few years.

WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) is encouraging those in the 15th District of Texas to participate in the United States Postal Service (USPS)'s Operation Santa. Operation Santa is a USPS program that allows children to send their Christmas list to Santa so they have a possibility for their wishes to come true. Operation Santa is celebrating its 108th year and for the first time the program will be accepting letters from cities from across the country.

WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15), Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), Congresswoman Xochitl Torres Small (NM-02) and Senator Martin Heinrich (D-NM) introduced the Donations Acceptance Program (DAP) Reauthorization Act of 2020. The Donations Acceptance Program enables U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to explore, create and facilitate partnerships for improvements on port of entry infrastructures and technology, with the investment made by the local entities.
