WASHINGTON – Today,S. 2174, the Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains Act passed the U.S. House of Representatives by voice vote. This bill was introduced in the House by Congressmen Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) and Will Hurd (TX-23) as a companion bill to Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) and Vice President-Elect Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA)'s legislation that passed the U.S. Senate.
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) sent a letter to House and Senate leadership urging them to include stimulus payments in the next COVID-19 aid package. As it stands, Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has signaled that he is not in favor of this proposal.

Operation Santa is a USPS program that allows children to send their Christmas list to Santa so they have a possibility for their wishes to come true. Operation Santa is celebrating its 108th year and for the first time the program will be accepting letters from cities from across the country.
