MCALLEN, Texas — Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) issued a statement to applaud the actions of the individuals, volunteers and lineworkers who worked ceaselessly to respond to this week's ongoing disaster in Texas:
"While we wait for the results of the investigations into Texas' electric grid, we must commend the individuals, volunteers and lineworkers who worked day and night in grueling conditions to restore power and help our communities.
I also thank our first responders who worked day and night to help our communities through natural disasters and emergencies.
Their selfless acts and tireless work deserves to be recognized not just today but every day. Thank you for all you do."
