WASHINGTON – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) today announced $12,000,892 in final Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) Title I formula allocations funds for schools districts in Central and South Texas in the 15th District of Texas from the U.S. Department of Education.
Title I Grants to local school districts are intended to ensure that the most financially and socially disadvantaged children have an equal opportunity to obtain a high quality education and reach proficiency on state academic assessments.
