Congressman Gonzalez Announces $1.1 Million in HUD Funding for San Marcos and New Braunfels
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez announced $1,179,382 was allocated to San Marcos and New Braunfels by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD). The cities received allocations from Community Development Block Grants (CDBG).
“I am proud to announce these federal funds are available to communities in Central Texas through HUD,” said Congressman Gonzalez. “With these funds, in partnership with community leaders and organizations, we will continue working to provide those in Central Texas with reliable and decent housing while expanding economic opportunity in the region.“
Allocations are below:
- San Marcos $755,351
- New Braunfels: $424,031
