WASHINGTON, D.C. Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34) announced a $4.5 million federal award to Valley International Airport from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The award comes from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s Air Terminal Program fiscal year 2024 funds that improve outdated airport infrastructure.

MERCEDES, TEXAS – On Tuesday, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34) presented a World War II veteran’s family with his lost medals and military records. Previously, the family of Private First Class Francisco Gonzalez had for years attempted to recover any of the veteran’s records after they were mostly lost in the 1973 fire at the National Personnel Records Center.  
  
Congressman Gonzalez’s office was able to finally secure them for Private Gonzalez’s family after they requested his help through casework services.
