WASHINGTON – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration has awarded the City of McAllen, Texas, $2,006,000 in funding to improve drainage and rehabilitate existing terminals at the McAllen Miller International Airport.
"With these improvements, more businesses and travelers will continue to take off and land in the 15th District of Texas," Congressman Gonzalez said. "I look forward to seeing our airport and the surrounding communities in Hidalgo County thrive."

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez's (TX-15) amendment encouraging high schools with U.S. Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) to add cybersecurity coursework was included in the Conference Report to accompany H.R. 5519, the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019. The House adopted the Conference Report by a vote of 359-54 on Thursday, July 26, 2018. The Report now heads to the Senate for consideration.
