WASHINGTON – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) joined his fellow Democratic members of the Texas congressional delegation in a request sent to the U.S. Department of Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, seeking to overcome Governor Abbott's obstruction of federal education funds from reaching Texas schools.

WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, April 13, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) and 16 of his colleagues wrote a letter to President Joe Biden urging the urging optimum utilization of the of the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program (FRPP) and adequate vaccine allocation to community and retail pharmacies to inoculate more Americans.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced $1,295,684 for the Community Council of South Central Texas (CCSCT). This funding comes as part of the Head Start program funding awarded to promote schools readiness for pre-school children from low-income families. These funds are part of an installment for a five year grant.
