WASHINGTON – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) and 163 bipartisan and bicameral signatories sent a letter to Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Isabella Guzman, calling on the administration to fix the Shuttered Venue Operator Grant portal. When the website through which venues could apply for relief finally opened on April 8, it immediately crashed.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced $1,295,684 for the Community Council of South Central Texas (CCSCT). This funding comes as part of the Head Start program funding awarded to promote schools readiness for pre-school children from low-income families. These funds are part of an installment for a five year grant.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced that $750,000 in grant funding was awarded to the Santa Cruz and United Irrigation Districts as part of the Bureau of Reclamation's WaterSMART Water and Energy Efficiency Grants. The Santa Cruz Irrigation will receive $250,000 and the United Irrigation District will receive $500,000.
