"Last week's decision will negatively impact the lives of millions of Americans in my home state of Texas, and tens of millions of Americans nationwide, all who have some form of student loan debt.

In fact, there are $1.75 trillion dollars in total student loan debt, and the average owed per borrower is near $30,000.
