MCALLEN, TEXAS – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced that the State of Texas has received $313,713,228 in federal funding to help bring down energy costs for working families. Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and American Rescue Plan Act that Congressman Gonzalez voted to pass, these funds can be used to slash South Texans' energy bills, provide crisis assistance, and help weatherize homes.
