Congressman Gonzalez Celebrates Start of 2022-2023 School Year, Challenges South Texas Students to “learn something new every day.” 

McAllen, TEXAS – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) celebrated the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year by sending a video message to South Texas students and their families.

"Earlier this summer, I voted for legislation that President Biden signed to make South Texas schools more secure so that you can focus on what is most important: learning new subjects and skills while enjoying time with friends and family", stated Congressman Gonzalez. "This year I challenge you to learn something new every day and thank your families, teachers, custodians, paraprofessionals, and administrators for supporting you."
