Head Start is a comprehensive child development program that prepares young students, ages three to four, from low-income families for pre-school.

Head Start is a federal program that promotes school readiness for pre-school children from low-income families.
The grant will enable Head Start to continue providing Hidalgo County children and families access to child development programs and other services.
