Harlingen, Texas– Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34) announced $1.6 million in grant funding to the Harlingen Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) for the development and construction of an industrial park. The grant is provided by the U.S. Department of Commerce through the Economic Development Administration (EDA).
WASHINGTON D.C.– Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34) announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded $37 million to the state of Texas as part of Operation Stonegarden (OPSG) for Fiscal Year 2023, a longstanding effort to increase overall border security.
