WASHINGTON – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) issued an update regarding the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)'s Federal Major Disaster Declaration for Karnes County. On Monday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott requested that 30 counties be added to that list, including Karnes County.

WASHINGTON— Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) voted in favor of H.Res. 502, which includes $7.85 billion in supplemental appropriations for Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts. The Harvey disaster package matches the Administration's request submitted to Congressional leadership on Friday. The legislation passed the U.S. House of Representatives by a 419-3 vote.
