WASHINGTON—On Wednesday, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) along with other members of the Blue Dog Coalition sent a letter to Secretary of Treasury, Steven Mnuchin, calling on the U.S. Department of the Treasury to release an analysis of the House and Senate tax bills.
The counsel to the U.S. Department of Treasury's Office of Inspector General (OIG) has confirmed that the OIG is conducting an investigation into the process the Treasury used in order to perform its analyses of the tax bills that were passed in the Senate and the House.
