MCALLEN, Texas – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced that he will be hosting a series of Vietnam War 50th commemoration pinning ceremonies to honor Vietnam-era veterans in the 15th District of Texas. The pinning ceremonies are part of an ongoing national effort to honor all Vietnam-era veteran military service members who were on active duty.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced $49,900 in federal grant funding for the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) for research on brain aging, Alzheimer's disease, and dementia. The funding will be used to study the impact and risk factors of each on people residing in low-resource settings and in low and middle-income countries.
