Congressman Vicente Gonzalez Spends Thanksgiving Holiday with U.S. Sailors Stationed in the UAE

[RELEASED ON NOVEMBER 29, 2024] DUBAI, UAE –Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34) released a statement following his visit with service members from the U.S. Navy stationed at USO Jebel Ali Port. He was joined by Congressman Adriano Espaillat (NY-13).

“It was my honor to visit our brave servicemembers in the UAE and to express my utmost gratitude for their service,” said Congressman Gonzalez. “During this Thanksgiving season, we cannot forget the immense sacrifices made by our armed forces around the world, and our first responders at home, who make it possible for us to celebrate. On behalf of South Texas, thank you!”  

Congressman Gonzalez is the proud son of a Korean War veteran and Merchant Marine. In Congress, he is honored to represent Naval Air Station Kingsville, which trains U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps pilots.
