Congressman Gonzalez’s District Office to Collect Valentines for Veterans and Frontline Workers

January 21, 2021

Constituents are invited to submit cards and letters thanking local veterans and frontline workers for their service this Valentine’s Day

WASHINGTON – After last year's successful launch, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) will be holding the 15th District of Texas' second annual "Valentines for Vets" program to collect and distribute Valentine's Day cards to local veterans. This year, "Valentines for Vets" will also include "Valentines for Frontline Workers" to show our gratitude for those selflessly serving our community during the pandemic.

Constituents of all ages are encouraged to participate by dropping off or mailing cards to Congressman Gonzalez's McAllen office. The deadline for submissions is Monday, February 8, 2021.

"Our brave service members are owed the greatest amount of respect and admiration for their sacrifice to our country. This Valentine's Day, I hope the 15th District will join me in honoring our troops and frontline workers with a small token of appreciation," said Congressman Gonzalez. "A heartfelt card or handwritten note is a small but great way to give back to those who have given so much for our country."

The Congressional office hopes the constituents of the 15th District of Texas will answer the call for cards just as our frontline workers and military members answered the call to serve our country for us. The cards will be distributed to veterans and frontline workers throughout the 15th District of Texas.

Congressman Gonzalez's McAllen office location is below. Constituents with questions should contact Karen Hinojosa at (956) 682-5545.
