Congressman Gonzalez Remembers Victims and First Responders on 9/11

WASHINGTON – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) issued the following statement in remembrance of the events that took place on September 11, 2001.

"On September 11, we remember the countless, innocent lives lost and the heroes that rose above all else to save so many. More importantly, we remember that terrorist attacks like this may seek to disrupt this nation at its core, but the American spirit, displayed by our nation's emergency first responders and the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, will always prevail.
