Congressman Gonzalez Issues Statement on the Incredible Life of Former First Lady Barbara Bush

WASHINGTON – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) issued the following statement in response to the devastating loss of former First Lady, Barbara Bush, who died at the age of 92:

"First and foremost, I send my deepest condolences to former Presidents George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, former Governor Jeb Bush, Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush, and the entire Bush family as they mourn the loss of former First Lady, Barbara Bush. Mrs. Bush was a tireless advocate for education and the second woman to be both a wife and a mother of two U.S. Presidents. We will honor her contributions and cherish her memory for generations to come."
