Congressman Gonzalez Inducted into the New Democrat Coalition
WASHINGTON – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) was inducted into the New Democrat Coalition, a group of 68 forward-thinking Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives who are committed to advancing pro-economic growth, pro-innovation, and fiscally responsible policies in Congress.
"Now more than ever, it is important that we put politics aside and approach challenges together," Congressman Gonzalez said. "I am proud to join the New Democrat Coalition - a group that values good governance and welcomes new ideas. I look forward to working with my fellow New Democrats to build consensus and tackle the very issues Americans care about."

The congressman joins Congresswoman Brenda L. Lawrence (MI-14) and Congressmen Brendan F. Boyle (PA-13), Al Lawson Jr. (FL-05), Donald A. McEachin (VA-04), Raul Ruiz (CA-36), Thomas R. Suozzi (NY-03), and Marc A. Veasey (TX-33) as the newest members of the New Democrat Coalition.
