Congressman Gonzalez Encourages Victims of Hurricane Hanna to Submit Disaster Survey

July 29, 2020

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) is encouraging those in South Texas who have been impacted by Hurricane Hanna to submit a disaster survey. The survey is being conducted by the state of Texas to determine how much assistance is needed and if South Texas meets the threshold to qualify for federal aid.

"I know South Texas is facing challenging times, but rest assured I will continue to be a loud voice and strong advocate for the people of the 15th District of Texas," said Congressman Gonzalez. "Hurricane Hanna recently impacted the Rio Grande Valley and many are still without power. I am working hard to make sure resources are available to those who need them during the storm recovery. If you need help or support, my offices are here to help."

Within the survey, survivors will have the opportunity to request assistance from volunteer organizations at their property. This information will also help the state of Texas request more resources and volunteers into the area to help.

The survey can be found here.
