Congressman Gonzalez Encourages Eligible Central and South Texans to Take Advantage of USDA Rural Transportation Improvement Grants
WASHINGTON – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) is encouraging eligible applicants to apply for funding through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Rural Business Development Grants program to help implement training and technical service initiatives that improve transportation facilities and services in rural communities.
"No Texan should face mobility limitations that restrict their access to employment and health opportunities," Congressman Gonzalez said. "I encourage applicants to seek out this funding to improve transportation services and facilities so that rural Central and South Texans can move about and live freely. In Congress, I will continue to support policies and programs that make the 15th District of Texas more accessible."
Funding is divided into enterprise and opportunity grants. For more information, please click here.
