Congressman Gonzalez Announces Over $15 Million for Community Action Corporation of South Texas
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34) announced that the Community Action Corporation of South Texas (CACOST) will receive $15,361,194 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for their Head Start programs.
"I am proud to announce this funding for an organization that has done so much for our community," stated Congressman Gonzalez. "Organizations like Community Action Corporation of South Texas offer services that many families depend on to ensure that their children have access to the resources they need in order to advance in their education."

For over 49 years, Community Action Corporation of South Texas has offered South Texas families access to critical resources like Head Start, healthcare centers, housing and utilities assistance, and nutrition services.
