Congressman Gonzalez Announces New Date for Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemoration Lapel Pinning Ceremony for Saturday, September 19

MCALLEN, Texas – Today, in an effort to include more veterans, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced the new rescheduled date for the Vietnam War 50th anniversary commemoration lapel pinning ceremony for those in the 15th District of Texas. The event will be held virtually on Saturday, September 19 at 1 p.m. CST.
Veterans who are eligible to receive a Vietnam lapel pin must have been on active duty between November 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975. Veterans and their family members are welcome to register.
"I look forward to recognizing these brave men and women and honoring them for their service to our country," said Congressman Gonzalez.
