Congressman Gonzalez Announces $504,979 for Nuestra Clinica Del Valle for Expanded Coronavirus Response and Treatment

MCALLEN, Texas – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced $504,979 in Coronavirus (COVID-19) supplemental funding for Nuestra Clinica Del Valle. These funds are to help Nuestra Clinica expand testing for coronavirus treatment.

"Nuestra Clinica Del Valle is a pillar of health care services in our community," said Congressman Gonzalez. "This funding is vital in supporting health care professionals as they continue to work through this crisis and treat those who are affected. I will continue to do everything within my reach to ensure that South Texans have the resources they need during this time."

Congress passed a three packages to provide free coronavirus treatment, response and economic recovery aid for Americans. The House of Representatives recently passed The Heroes Act which would provide another $75 billion for the testing, tracing and treatment needed and help ensure that every American can access free coronavirus treatment.
