Congressman Gonzalez Announces 2022 COPS Anti-Methamphetamine and Anti-Heroin Task Force Program Grant Application Period
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced that the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) is now accepting applications for their Anti-Methamphetamine (CAMP) and Anti-Heroin Task Force (AHTF) grant programs.
"The Rio Grande Valley is one the safest regions in the entire country thanks to the brave work of local law enforcement in coordination with our community," stated Congressman Gonzalez. "This grant is an opportunity to support law enforcement agencies as they address some of the most pressing issues facing our communities—like drug trafficking and addiction. I urge our law enforcement agencies to apply for these grants to bolster their work to keep South Texas safe and healthy."
