Washington D.C. - Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34) released the following statement regarding President Trump's decision to remove Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security:  

“Kristi Noem's incompetency and lack of accountability emboldened rogue immigration operations in South Texas and across the country that have created chaos and left American citizens dead. She had no business running a federal agency. Frankly, her firing should have happened much sooner.”
